Show night

Planning a Show Night at Casino Rama

A lot of weekends at the resort near Orillia get built around one evening in its theatre. This page covers tickets, the Box Office and the house rules, and leaves the show list to casinorama.com.

The theatre

The 5,000-seat theatre

The Entertainment Centre is the resort's theatre, a 5,000-seat hall with retractable seating. From January 2026, its shows are for ages 19 and over unless a show is marked otherwise. That matters if teenagers are coming along for the weekend: check the age line on the listing before you buy.

The current show list is on casinorama.com. This guide prints no shows, dates or prices, so the line-up, the times and the cost of a seat all come from the resort's own site.

Tickets

Buying and collecting tickets

Ticketmaster and the resort's Box Office are the only two sellers of tickets; no other outlet sells seats. The Box Office is located in the Rotunda, which sits just past the main entrance and connects the hotel to the casino floor. When a show is on, the counter opens at noon and remains open until showtime.

Picking up tickets you ordered ahead? Bring the credit card used for the order, plus government-issued photo ID. If someone else in your group paid, plan for that person to be the one at the counter. It helps to keep the card and the ID together before you leave your suite.

In the seats

Snacks, drinks and phones in the seats

Food and drinks bought inside the Entertainment Centre can go with you to your seat. Outside food and drinks cannot be brought in, so leave the snacks from the drive in the car.

Phones are a different matter. Each artist decides whether personal photos are allowed, so the rule can change from one show to the next. Audio and video recording are never allowed, and neither are professional cameras.

Access

Accessible seats and wheelchairs

The theatre has a limited number of accessible seats, booked through 1-800-832-7529, and hearing devices are available on request at the Box Office. Free wheelchair loans are offered at the casino main entrance, the bus entrance and the hotel bell desk. No reservations are taken; chairs go to whoever asks first. A piece of government ID stays behind until the chair is returned.

Before the show

Dinner before curtain

On a Friday or Saturday, Couchiching Court Buffet serves dinner from 4 p.m. to 9 p.m. It sits on the casino floor and admits guests 19 and over only. Centre Bar, the sports bar in the middle of the floor, opens daily at 11 a.m. and is also 19+. MATCH, ATLAS steak + fish, Chow Lucky Noodle Bar, The Weirs and Firestarter Lounge post no hours. A number of the restaurants take reservations at 1-800-832-7529, so a call ahead settles where you eat.

Questions

Quick answers

Short answers, each one from the facts checked for this guide. Tap a question to open it.

What time does the Box Office open on a show night?

It opens at noon and stays open until showtime. You will find it in the Rotunda, just inside the main entrance.

Can a friend collect tickets bought on someone else's card?

Plan on the buyer coming. Pickup calls for the credit card used for the order and government-issued photo ID, so the person who paid is the one to send to the counter.

Can a teenager under 19 see a show in the theatre?

Only if the show is billed as all ages. From January 2026, Entertainment Centre shows are for ages 19 and over unless a show is marked otherwise.

Can a drink go with you to your seat?

Yes, as long as it was bought inside the Entertainment Centre. Food and drinks from outside cannot be brought into the theatre.
